GE and Intel invest $250 million to commercialize and develop innovative technologies for independent living and chronic disease management.

Meanwhile, Intel Health Guide is a personal health system It combines a home device for the patient with an online interface that allows healthcare professionals to monitor patients at home and manage their care remotely. The Health Guide integrates vital sign monitoring, patient reminders, and communication tools such as videoconferencing and alerts.
