On October 14th in the city of Lima, the wholesale company Anixter organized the event “Anixter Data Center Summit 2015”, whose central theme was: ”Infrastructure as a platform”, the same event that Anixter has replicated in Colombia, Panama, Mexico and Brazil, closing the 2015 cycle in Lima.
The theme of the event was focused on the following topics:
- Risk Management
- Energy Optimization
- Thermal Efficiency
- Network Migration
- DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) Enabling
A Technology Fair was held simultaneously, featuring the participation of major manufacturers in the industry such as: APC, AVAYA, BOSCH, COMMSCOPE, CORNING, CPI, EXTREME NETWORKS, FLUKE NETWORKS and PANDUIT, and conferences on current trends in the Data Center industry covering the following topics:
- Infrastructure as a Platform (ANIXTER)
- Trends in Data Centers (INGENIUM)
- Risk Management (ANIXTER)
- Standards & Best Practices (BICSI)
- Energy Optimization and Energy Efficiency (ANIXTER)
- Tiers and Sustainable Operation (UPTIME INSTITUTE)
- DCIM Enabling (ANIXTER)
The event concluded with a ROUND TABLE – PANEL DISCUSSION, where representatives from ANIXTER, BICSI, UPTIME INSTITUTE and INGENIUM participated, and there was very good interaction with the attendees, clarifying doubts and specifying concepts of the topics discussed.
